Bitcoin block reward today

How much one Bitcoin and Dogecoin block is worth right now, how the reward is formed, and why in solo mining it goes to a single miner in full.

What the block reward consists of

The Bitcoin block reward = network subsidy (3.125 BTC) plus the fees of all transactions in the block. The miner who finds a valid hash first gets everything in full. The network finds about 144 blocks per day (~450 new BTC).

The subsidy halves every 210,000 blocks (≈ 4 years) — this is the halving. The current reward of 3.125 BTC has been in effect since April 2024; the next halving (~2028) will cut it to 1.5625 BTC.

Why it matters for solo mining

In a pool the reward is split among thousands of miners proportionally to hashrate. In solo mining the block goes to one — the entire reward is yours. BetMiner rents industrial hashrate and mines solo on your behalf, so when a block is found you get the full reward (minus a 3% fee) instantly in GRAM — without buying hardware.

Want to take a whole block?

Buy a hashrate package and mine solo — a block is found, the entire reward is yours.
