Solo mining calculator: chance to find a block
Solo mining is a lottery against the entire network. Estimate the probability of catching a Bitcoin or Dogecoin block depending on hashrate and the number of packages.
How the probability is calculated
The chance to catch a block is proportional to your share of the total network hashrate. The probability of at least one block over N independent attempts with chance p each:
P(≥1) = 1 − (1 − p)^N
Network difficulty is recalculated every 2016 blocks (~2 weeks), keeping the average block time around 10 minutes for Bitcoin. The more hashrate and time you rent — the higher p.
Real per-package calculator
In the BetMiner dashboard the probability of each package is set upfront and computed from the current network difficulty — you don’t need to enter hashrate manually. Pick a package and the calculator shows the total chance and the price in GRAM.
